BeginnerStep-by-Step Solutions
Rebuilding the database is a safe process and does not delete your games or save data. It simply reorganizes the file system.
Restore Licenses
Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses. Select 'Restore' and wait for the process to complete. This resyncs all your content licenses with your account.
Rebuild Database in Safe Mode
Power off your PS5 completely. Press and hold the power button until it beeps a second time to enter Safe Mode. Connect a controller via USB and select option 5, 'Clear Cache and Rebuild Database' > 'Rebuild Database'.
Delete and Reinstall the Game/Add-On
If the problem persists for one game, highlight it on the home screen, press the OPTIONS button, and select 'Delete'. Go to your Game Library to redownload the base game and all of its add-ons.
Check Game Content Management
Highlight the game, press the OPTIONS button, and select 'Manage Game Content'. Ensure that all the add-ons you are trying to access are listed and show as 'Installed'. If not, select the download icon next to them.
